After months of preparation as a member of the planning committee, I was pleased to participate as a volunteer at the 27th Annual VINTAGE BOUQUET™ Food and Wine extravaganza held on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, California.  The Barristers of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation hold this annual event as one of their major fundraisers.

27th Annual Vintage Bouquet

Established in 1988, this signature event has grown in size and prestige.  This year fit the bill as well, with several hundred people in attendance, and featuring hors d’oeuvres by the area’s top chefs and pouring by California’s premium wineries accompanied by live entertainment and a live and silent auction.

Proceeds from the VINTAGE BOUQUET™ benefit the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation, an affiliate of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and a 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to serving the greater Los Angeles community. The mission of the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation is to fund law-related education and community service projects benefiting youth, families, and seniors and to fund scholarships for deserving law school students.

Over the years, the Foundation has enhanced the community by funding a number of nationally recognized and emulated legal literacy and preventive law programs as well as community service projects including, among other things:

  • Free Wills for Fire Fighters and Emergency Responders
  • Free Monthly Legal Clinics
  • Free programs for victims of domestic violence
  • Free one-day seminars to help individuals understand their legal rights
  • Free programs to elementary students about tolerance and diversity
  • Free programs to high school students about the law

The Foundation is also proud of its long-standing support and association with Public Counsel, conceived and founded by the Beverly Hills Bar Association more than 30 years ago and now the nation’s largest pro bono law firm. The Foundation, the Association, and Public Counsel share a deep commitment to helping others through volunteer service, a cornerstone of the Foundation’s tradition of excellence.

Delectable food, amazing wine, beer and tequila tastings, along with live music — in a spectacular setting with amazing views — made for a beautiful way to spend the afternoon, and in support of many good causes throughout the greater community! I was pleased, too, to have the opportunity to meet with and enjoy time with some of Rapid Legal’s law firm customers (and future customers!). I hope to see many of you there next year!
